Q&A1

 Q&A2

Hey, is this safe? I've never done hypnosis before and I was wondering if there were any permanent effects or risks. Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is safe.  Hypnosis cannot force you to do anything you do not want to.  However, it can change you very quickly, which can be frightening. The Mane 6 scripts all have triggers to end all effects, but I’d stay away from the “Pet” and “Perma” labeled files.

Hello Fillyosopher! I tried the Rainbow Dash one and it f***in creeped me out! So I quit. Sooooooooo, I was wondering if you only listen to part of it will that affect you in any way good or bad????? Also are all hypnosis things creepy like that? Thanks, bro.

I tend to listen to the loop, usually for hours at a time.  There are a few portions which did disturb me at first, especially the line “You pursue [pony related thing here], even to the point of insanity.”  At first, I thought this was a crazy thing to suggest!  I wanted to be Twilight Sparkle, not become obsessed over details!
What I’ve found though is that you make the decision, in the end, what part of the suggestions affect you.  If you are listening to Pinkie Pie and it says you are obsessed with making people happy, you can decide not to be.  Not listening to part of the file is just a way to make sure that you don’t get the effects of a certain line or lines.  I tend to black out lines I don’t want in my head, others actually edit the audio file to have only lines they want.
This scripts have effect line-by-line, so removing a few lines will not cause any bad effects.  It WILL remove the effect of that line, of course, but if hearing “obsessed with details” actually makes it harder to believe yourself to be Twilight, then just cut it out!  No negative effects will be created.
It is hard to say whether all hypnosis is creepy, mostly because different things creep out different people.  Does all hypnosis suggest you do something, yes.  Just like basically every mother or spouse will suggest you do certain things.  Does hypnosis always speak in concrete terms (You feel X, as opposed to You can feel X if you want), no.  Not always, just often.
Are the effects always creepy?  No, not really.  For example, I recently used two files which put me into a very very deep sleep.  There was no extra suggestion, nothing more than “You are falling into a deep sleep.”  When I woke up, I was feeling pretty good and glad I’d used the files (you can see the full report on my blog).  I wouldn’t call that effect creepy, but useful, just as I would say the pony files are damn useful in getting me to believe something I never could pull off alone.
I am very sorry that your first experience with hypnosis was so negative; it feels like a failure on my part, to an extent.  Regardless, I hope the experience was worth doing once.
Best wishes in all you do,
Fillyosopher
P.S.  I’d like to hear more about your experience, if you’d be willing to email me.  It isn’t very useful to only hear back from the success cases.
