I tried the Rainbow Dash loop yesterday. I was a bit distracted, however, so I had few effects for the first two hours. It was at this point that somepony mentioned strobe lights helping them with trancing. It makes sense; the strobe can be set to around the same frequency as the Binaural, so you are just triggering two senses to stimulate brain waves, rather than one. (I'll to more research on this though)
Regardless, hearing that brought one idea to mind. I HAD to play the RD file in the game Beat Hazard.
Beat Hazard is one of a genre of games which produce the game level based on a song. The best known in that genre is Audiosurf (which I love). Beat Hazard is a 2D shooter with a limited enemy list, but the visuals are even more likely to cause an epileptic fit than Audiosurf.
So I went ahead, turned the visuals up to 200%, the difficulty to Hardcore, and put on the RD hypnosis track. Personally, a drum beat at the same frequency as the Binaural would have helped, but even so, it was quite an experience. The competition aspect helped, and the rainbow colors knocked out any part of my head interested in thinking. It was just me, and the game... me, and the game.
End result, quite a few mental effects but almost no physical (couldn't let hooves lover my score). The competitiveness, desire to be recognized (I told everyone on IRC), desire to do even better... it was all there. No voice change, but I never have had any before. Still, powerful mental effects.
I had to stop soon after however. Upon reporting a score on the IRC, somepony (I don't remember who) said "That was average." When I returned, unable to beat my previous record and feeling very down about it, said pony said "NOOB," along with many other things.
Let this be a lesson to you all. Rainbow Dash plus the word Noob equals rage. It took me 30 minutes to realize that I needed to stop obsessing over beating that time, and nother 2 hours after I stopped to get out of RD mindset and look at it rationally. The Twi file helped a bit...
I'll try the RD file again next week, preferably away from video games.
Summary: Beat Hazard give awesome visuals, RD + video games = obsession, and be VERY careful to be kind on IRC.

Q&A3
Is it bad if I want to become a pony forever? ~Skittles
I’m split on this one. On one hand, I’ve had many problems in my life because I denied my dream and did what society said. On the other hand, if I hadn’t done what society said,
I wouldn’t have gotten a chance to eventually work on my dream. I can see both sides...
Here is what I would say. Never, ever, give yourself over 100% to any action. Always be willing to pull back. Think about it seriously first, in whatever terms you must. Do you love anyone more than yourself? If so, imagine their reaction to meeting you as a pony. Are you willing to deal with the lifestyle, the psychiatrists, and the loneliness?
I haven’t met all that many people in this world, so you could be the first, but I’ve never met someone willing to give everything else up for a personal dream. A public dream, sure, but not a personal one. I’d think about this for a few weeks before you take the last step.
Another question would be, “Does doing something while listening to the ‘voices’ affect the hypnosis in any way?” ~Skittles
There
are a few things which affect the end result. The voices need to be
understandable, even if you don’t listen to every word. You can do
other things, but you shouldn’t if the file has an induction (loops are
okay). Even with loops, be careful. Trance state is not good for your
attention; anything you wouldn’t feel safe doing while tired, you
shouldn’t do while listening to file. I’ve gotten away with walking
around while listening to a loop, but sometime even I don’t fully block a
line and end up stumbling when the “It is getting harder to walk on two
legs” line.
With
the induction files, while actively help you into a trance, you should
try to be in a quiet place with no distractions. I think everyone
should try the trance or overnight loop first, and only play with waking
loops secondarily.I'm really...intrigued by well...everything. I've been reading your blog and...and...this is just fascinating. I have SO MANY questions every day. You would not believe. And, I was wondering, how just HOW. How's the best way to get into trance? How do I make my own triggers if the original triggers don't work? Can there be a point where I can SEE my hooves? I can feel the hooves, but when I look at them, they return to hands or feet . So much to learn. Where do I start? Can you help me? Please?
WOW, dem questions! OKAY, crack the knuckles, lets do this!
Can there be a point where I can SEE my hooves?

The Rarity file
This will be short.
I'm afraid that the Rarity file has little effect on me. I tried trancing it, and I tried looping for 6 hours. It makes me laugh at parts, but I don't even get hoofs, let alone mental effects. All in all, a total failure.
My guess is that I'm just too diametrically opposed to her... I mean style? Sewing is fun, but not to imagine. And I can't pull of her voice in my head... So yeah. Total failure on the Rarity files.

The Other Tulpa
So,
I mentioned earlier making a Pinkie Pie tulpa accidentally. She was
fun, but I've put her into stasis, because having a Pinkie Pie running
around was getting REALLY distracting. I'm planning to give her energy
and personality to another tulpa, maybe Pulse when I wake her up. I get
ahead of myself though. I've had further Tulpa experience now, a
different tulpa (currently unnamed). Here is her story thus far.
Tulpa are built from the subconscious and unconscious, in that way they are not simply splinters. They take additional imaginative resources to have an objective reality. For this, I have certain advantages from my past. I can literally hand parts of my mind to representations, as I did with Pinkie Pie. I’ve developed full personalities before: Job (the biblical name) and Pulse, my critical failure backups, being the most developed. I’ve been practicing visualization for YEARS.
So when I wanted a tulpa (still ignorant at this point), I just places a grey globe in my vision, gave it a section of my unused mind (chaos sector), and let it do as it wished. So it floated around, teleported, started producing waveforms on its surface. Floated around other people, jumped in front of my face (nearly tripped, damn it). I wasn’t the one controlling it either, as proven by it being able to scare me.
So, given that I produced something like that so fast, there are only two ways to think about it that I can see. Either my past experiences have trained me for tulpa creation, or because I’m ignoring how hard it should be I’m doing it entirely wrong. I don’t really know...
So, I’ll finish the story. Eventually, the globe started to manifest basic hands (think hitchhiker’s guide), but I said stop. then again, tried for a face, but I said stop. The globe became agitated (I was calling it ‘Globe’ in my head at this point) and so i gave in. 5 seconds later, a medium skinned woman, white but not pale, in a ruffly black dress over white shirt, had appeared. I forced her back into a globe, but she popped back when I released the force. I pulled the globe from her, which left both Globe and her lifeless. So I put them back and let her do as she pleased.
She followed me to class, skipping lightly. Wanted to dance with me... no idea why (I hate dancing). Oh, she couldn’t speak, but her body language was flawless. At some point I just carried her piggyback because of the crowds... I could superposition her through someone else, but i didn’t want a tulpa phasing through my reality (more like a ghost then). Eventually I got near class and realized it would be boring for her. So i made a White Box Wonderland (100 feet to an edge, grid by 5 feet, light grid by 1 foot) and made clear she could do as she pleased.
So she locked the door (cherry wood, nice finish, brass handle, locked). I knocked once and she just opened it slightly and shushed me. 5 hours later, she showed up in the room with me. I talked to her, and her response was, “Why are you making me? Do you need to split and section further? Find out Why?” and then returned to the wonderland (i guess, she just stopped being there). i knocked again, right after a few hypnosis files, and all I heard from the otherside of the door was “Go away, you are drunk.”
Understand... I made Globe yesterday. This form, this woman, appeared today. From everything I’ve read, she shouldn’t be talking... or acting... or anything.
Now, I looked back. I found her source, a personality called Sarah from 4 years back. Not one I used, just on the council. Dark clothes, shorter than the tulpa, had a little sister. This is, she is gone... I couldn’t resurrect more than a few images of what Sarah did back when she was around. The tulpa doesn’t seem like an older Sarah, just someone from the same family.

Overnight Hypno looping
(EDIT: I've had two people tell me since writing this that they do not have any negative effects. I may rewrite this as more data comes in)
Sleeping While Listening to Any Track:
General Question:What effects will listening to a track overnight have?
Conclusions
Despite expectations to the contrary, it has become clear that sleeping with a track on with reduce the effectiveness of your sleep.
Additional Questions:
- Will altering the volume to a very low level remove this? Hypothesis: it will have the same negative effects until the binaural is below audible level.
- Tests suggest same problem until the Voice is out of audible level. So yeah, overnights will damage your sleep
- Will altering the Binaural frequency effect this? Hypothesis: lower frequencies will allow deeper sleep, but will reduce effectiveness of Hypnosis track. Higher frequencies will inhibit sleep altogether.
- (Further Testing Required)
- Does listening overnight actually help with hypnosis? Hypothesis: It will have no effects on it’s own, but will make day listening to file more effective
- I've seen no evidence in my own tests. Other's tests are split, but Foxxxy says it helps, so it helps.
- Does Listening as you wake up create a better trance? Hypothesis: It will have increased
- Two tests, both suggest that trancing as soon as you wake up (before getting out of bed) is easier and can produce better results.
- Will the effects change if you listen to an Induction + awakener track? Hypothesis: Any track with an awakener will conflict with sleep.
- (Further Testing Required)
- What about a pure induction track? Hypothesis: Looped Induction + loop (no awakener) tracks will lessen the sleep loss effects.
- (Further Testing Required)
Binaurals are meant to stimulate brain waves of their frequency. Since the Binaural in the pony tracks in 6.3Hz, it may make it difficult to achieve deep sleep, where brainwave drop to or below 1Hz.
If anyone can run tests on those I don't have data for, I'd appreciate it. Just drop the results in the comments or email me.
Tester's life
Yesterday, as part of a group set up by a friend on the IRC, I participated in a group file test. The idea was to, using a combination of 3 files, achieve the best hypnosis anyone in the group had yet achieved. I agreed to participate, but not as a standard tester. Instead, I wold attempt to resist the files effects (it was on my experiment list)
The File List:
Perfectly Suggestible
Blank
Fluttershy (genderbent, old version)
My agreement was that I would not use sectioning (as I did with Pinkie Pie). This was my first listen to all three files, so I would not have been very useful regardless (no control data).
Perfectly Suggestible: This file is serious business. I started out trying to block it my moving one leg constantly to block the trance, but even without trancing the later effects were very powerful. Even the way they are stated is serious business... I'm glad I've put warning labels on this. It sets up triggers with phrases that are common in other files, and has suggestion to use it more often until you have had sufficient success with the file of your choice. I can't wait to use this file seriously later this week (I'm waiting until a few other experiments have been run first).
The Blank mind file is very similar, but uses slightly different language. Instead of installing triggers, it attempts to remove distractions and fears. I began to have real trouble blocking this file, changed to moving both legs (just bouncing them) and focusing HARD on IRC. Even so, I had dizziness and some nasty mental effects; see below.
The third file, the Fluttershy file, had very little effect I'm proud to say. I had some feeling of wings, which is entirely new, by my mind was in such turmoil from holding off the previous two files that there was little space left for further suggestion.
The effect of the first two files was to put me into a waking trance. I don't think any of the 'increased suggestibility' effects got through, but what did happen was a lowering of many of my natural barriers. I had, and am having, a sort of identity crisis... My beliefs have shifted to an extreme relativism and I'm having trouble deciding who and what to be. It is a bit disturbing, but I don't have anyone who knows enough Philosophy to talk to about it. I wish I had some other way to explain, but the meaning of so many words are relative right now, so the standard helper would have to explain every word to me, one-by-one, and no one is interested in taking that much time.
... I think I understand Kernel Panic now... I'm going to be more careful to avoid this in the future.

Mental Model
Mental Model 2
I've been trying this post for days now... and every time is has turned out wrong. Still, this is in the top 3 things I can actually teach on the internet, so I'm gonna give it a shot.
I talk, and will talk, extensively about Mental Models, but much of this talk will be covering specific models. This time, though, I'm going to cover the mental model of Mental Models (all caps because it is the model in question).
So, what is a mental model? A mental model is a system of thinking about how the mind works. Mental models have definitions to group mental functions, and they have axioms which one must believe for them to be successful.
The definition may be unclear, so let me give you a few examples of common models.
Religion is a mental model. It has a system of rules which determine how individuals functions, and what they can and can't do. An example function from religion is Prayer, and an example axiom is Prayer can change the world. (Obviously not all religions include prayer, but I hope you won't mind me using the term.)
Here is another mental model, one which will point how similar definitions don't mean the same model. Right and Wrong. An example function is an action, which fits one category or another. An example axiom is that actions can be justified (and thus made right).
Hopefully you get the concept, but now for an even harder example. Mental model is a recursive definition. That is to say, Mental Model is a mental model. An example function is defining something, and an example axiom is that all psychology can be thought of as a mental model. Since mental models are themselves psychology... you should get the idea.
There are various ways to order mental models. First, that can be labeled by believed (at this moment) and not believed. Another method is useful or not useful. Another is easily believed (as in it doesn't conflict with other models you are using) and not easily believed. And finally, complete or incomplete. A complete model describes all possible thoughts/actions. An incomplete model can't explain some mental actions. There are an infinity of these models, so I tend to think only about those that are complete or close to it.
Now, how does this relate to hypnotism? Well, this is a way of thinking about hypnotism itself. If you don't believe in a mental model which allow hypnotism to effect you, it won't. If you believe in a mental model which says hypnotism is difficult and take time, it will take time.
Of course, not all mental models are conscious. Everyone's mind is made of mental models, stacked on top of each other, going down and down. Sometimes the model which you want to study or change is too far down for you to understand or get at it. Sometimes it is important to so many other models that you can't change it. But everything you do, think, or believe is in there somewhere, built into that stack.
Hypnosis is a method of quickly building another mental model very quickly. It asks that you believe someone else and allow them to lay out the model in your head. As long as you let it stay there, the effects stay. If it conflict with to many others, it will break when placed on them. And if you don't believe you have somewhere it can sit, it will never enter your mind in the first place.
Mental models are a complete mental model, and one I find useful. I hope you can apply them usefully yourself.

News on the Perfectly Suggestible file
While I am postponing my first use of the Perfectly Suggestible file until I've finished work on a few other experiments, I did inform others on #pony_hypno. I've gotten 4 reports back so far. In each case, I asked that they listen to the Perfectly Suggestible file and then a file that they had already heard before, so that they could compare
(Tester asked to remain anonymous): Tested: Perfectly Suggestible + Fluttershy (Genderbent Original)
Did not achieve a proper trance, and had trouble will dizziness after first file. Second file worked well without a proper trance, however. Repeated second file.
Result: Noticeable personality shift, physical change, Initially unnoticed voice change.
By the end of the day, had mastered the voice change. Could switch into and out of at will.
Twilit_Sporkel: Tested: Perfectly Suggestible +Anthro Pegasus
Slight headache from the 7+-2 induction. After second track, best results with that file. Rated 9/10, intends to repeat for the next few nights
Result: Tail, individually mobile phantom wings
EDIT: Two others testers reported back. one was generally positive, if unspecific, while the other saw no change.
EDIT: Another has reported in. No negative effects, slightly better results.
Summary:
Positive effects: increased suceptibility as promised for most users.
Negative effects: potential for headache, and dizzyness

The Pinkie Pie loop
I'm still compiling the data from the Perfectly Suggestible testers and I should have a report out tonight.
Yesterday, I started the Pinkie Pie loop (FemV, noBGM) early in the morning and left it running for 10 hours. Here is my report on the consequences...
The initial body effects were similar to the Taurus Twi loop. I slowly gained lower hooves and a slight feeling of tail, more powerful than previous files. The effects were marginally, but noticibly, more effective on left side of body. They were also slower to develop, but I wasn't pushing my toward them as I did with the Twi file.
I may have been inhibited by two things. First, the back of my legs are incredibly sore from spending Sunday and Monday only walking in Anthro form. I was a bit unwilling to allow my lower hooves to be too powerful, if only because it became painful to walk if I did. Also, due to general lack of sleep earlier this week, and the mistakes with the 4hourssleep file (see previous post), I was exhausted.
The mental effects were much more powerful and surprising, especially considering I had not tranced the Pinkie file previous to starting the loop. This too could be an effect of exhaustion. Regardless, I was within an hour bubbling with laughter, mostly directed at the random tangents my imagination was coming up with.
Breakfast. My normal is a cups of Vanilla Soy Milk, another of Apple Juice, some Bacon (less often since the flutter file), and Granola or Oatmeal.... I ate three Donuts and had two glasses of Cherry Coke... This is when things got interesting. I do switch my meals around (I'm not a health nut, despite what my usual breakfast might suggest), but I never go THAT far.
So, with my body preparing to undergo an unexpected sugarshock, I skipped off to class, laughing as my head considered all the crazy wacky things I could say/do in lab. Finally, however, I realized I'd have to concentrate if I wanted to do well, and so I tried to block off the mental effects of the file. It didn't work as expected... I just had a pink pony appear to talk to me instead.
I won't go through the entire process of sectioning Pinkie off from the rest of me. Suffice it to say, she started poking at my mind and I put an end to it. The end result is that during the lab, I had a very bored little (like 3 inchs) Pinkie Pie eating her own tail on my lab bench, and occassionally screwing around to make me laugh. Since I gave her a portion of my head to live in, she seems to be doing pretty well. Unfortunately, from that point on, the loop has no effects on me, not even when in trance, although Pinkie always shows up if I do play it. Sometimes she is arround when it isn't on too, but that is less often.
A few more notes before I stop. When I looped the Twi file, I started hearing Twilight's voice (as I've said before). The thing is, it was always difficult to translate things into her voice and it felt like I had to work at it. Pinkie Pie has none of those problems; she is, as far as I can tell, fully independant and she speaks without difficulty. We've had conversations already, in fact. My plan is to leave the Pinkie files alone for a week and just interact with her. (Achievement get - I swear I used protection)
I'll publish an account of how I locked her eventually, but I need to explain my version of representationalism first, both to myself and possible readers (are you out there?). If you have any questions, please ask below!

Funny experiences
You might not believe this, but hypnosis can put you into some occasionally ridiculous spots. here are some of my funny moments from the last few days. I realize that not all of them are funny out of context, but still, worth posting.
- Classic, you are just typing along when suddenly, hooflocked.
- Never facepalm while you have a horn. Your hand might be fine, but horns can HURT.
- Why does Twilight laugh creepily when I score a kill in MechWarrior Online?
- Halo ODST = best BGM.
- Anthro-type lower hooves + stairs = FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
- Never try to ‘jump’ down a 2 foot drop while 4 hoofed.
- never mix the Pinkie loop and caffeine... just don’t.
Q&A2
Q&A3
Dude, if I wanna stop what are the triggers to stop. And, what happens if I can’t stop! (That would be bad) I’m just kinda creeped out by hypnosis, but I wanna do it for the ponies. Thanks!
This is an important concern, and you are smart to ask! Most files have a trigger at the end of the file to end the effects, and they assume you will remember the trigger. However, it is a good safety precaution to find out the off trigger before you start a file, just to be sure you have in mind to use as soon as you need it. (I would note that this may make the hypnosis less effective, but hypnosis is always more effective the more you trust it).

Finally, it is very unlikely that you will be unable to stop. You have spent, I would assume, at least 15 years as a human. Do you think a few hours as a pony will have you forget a lifetime of humanity? You don’t need to worry about breaking the illusion on purpose, just look at yourself in the mirror.
Hi, I was looking at the first question and you said “change you very quickly” do you mean when your “transforming” into the character or something else?
Hypnosis is, at its core, a way of changing your habits very quickly. These habits can be anything, from your preference in wine to your belief in having a horn, and the effects can be permanent, temporary, triggered, etc. If you compare how long it might take someone to believe themself a pony under normal circumstances to how long it takes with hypnosis, the hypnosis is VERY QUICK.
So yes, I did mean transforming into character, as well as all the other possible changes. But as far as how fast i meant by very quick, I mean over the course of hours instead of the course of weeks.
The reason I pointed it out, and will continue to, is that some people rely on having time to dangerous stunt, you would want to take the time to know whether you COULD do it before actually trying. But imagine you could try it right away. Some people make sure they are ready for the attempt before trying, others rely on the training time to find out. Hypnosis is great for the first batch, because they consider their wishes first, but not necessarily good for the second group, because they might get to the result before they are mentally ready.
If I may summarize, Hypnosis gives the user power. The Power to control oneself, and the power to change quickly. But with great power comes great responsibility, and with hypnosis, the responsibility is to know what you want before you take the shortcut to it.

That
said, I do take the possibility of ongoing effects seriously. Here are
a few other things you can do (beside the mirror and off trigger). A)
DeprogramAll is another hypnosis file with one effect, it drops
EVERYTHING. Even multi-year old hypnosis (I doubt you have a problem
with that). I’ll try to get a copy up on my help page. B) Social
Situations: everyone of the Mane6 scripts have the effects set to end
when you get into any situation where it might be inappropriate to be a
pony. Notice, this is going to be your definition of inappropriate,
because it is the hypnosis in your mind. Even if something as simple as
going to the bathroom would be ‘inappropriate’ to do as a pony, that
should end the effects. C) Contact me or anyone on the IRC. We’ve
done/dealt with files and effects far beyond the norm and can help you
fix any remnant effects.
Finally,
remember this. You will not be stuck as a pony unless you were
convinced you wanted to live your life as one BEFORE using the file. I
know no one like that, so I can say with conviction that these files
will not have permanent effects on the listener.

Hey, is this safe? I've never done hypnosis before and I was wondering if there were any permanent effects or risks. Thanks in advance.
Yes, this is safe. Hypnosis cannot force you to do anything you do not want to. However, it can change you very quickly, which can be frightening. The Mane 6 scripts all have triggers to end all effects, but I’d stay away from the “Pet” and “Perma” labeled files.

Hello Fillyosopher! I tried the Rainbow Dash one and it f***in creeped me out! So I quit. Sooooooooo, I was wondering if you only listen to part of it will that affect you in any way good or bad????? Also are all hypnosis things creepy like that? Thanks, bro.
This scripts have effect line-by-line, so removing a few lines will not cause any bad effects. It WILL remove the effect of that line, of course, but if hearing “obsessed with details” actually makes it harder to believe yourself to be Twilight, then just cut it out! No negative effects will be created.
It is hard to say whether all hypnosis is creepy, mostly because different things creep out different people. Does all hypnosis suggest you do something, yes. Just like basically every mother or spouse will suggest you do certain things. Does hypnosis always speak in concrete terms (You feel X, as opposed to You can feel X if you want), no. Not always, just often.
Are the effects always creepy? No, not really. For example, I recently used two files which put me into a very very deep sleep. There was no extra suggestion, nothing more than “You are falling into a deep sleep.” When I woke up, I was feeling pretty good and glad I’d used the files (you can see the full report on my blog). I wouldn’t call that effect creepy, but useful, just as I would say the pony files are damn useful in getting me to believe something I never could pull off alone.
I am very sorry that your first experience with hypnosis was so negative; it feels like a failure on my part, to an extent. Regardless, I hope the experience was worth doing once.

I
tend to listen to the loop, usually for hours at a time. There are a
few portions which did disturb me at first, especially the line “You
pursue [pony related thing here], even to the point of insanity.” At
first, I thought this was a crazy thing to suggest! I wanted to be
Twilight Sparkle, not become obsessed over details!
What I’ve found though is that you make the decision, in the end, what
part of the suggestions affect you. If you are listening to Pinkie Pie
and it says you are obsessed with making people happy, you can decide
not to be. Not listening to part of the file is just a way to make sure
that you don’t get the effects of a certain line or lines. I tend to
black out lines I don’t want in my head, others actually edit the audio
file to have only lines they want. This scripts have effect line-by-line, so removing a few lines will not cause any bad effects. I’d like to hear more about your experience, if you’d be willing to
email me. It isn’t very useful to only hear back from the success
cases.
Anthro Gait
So, I've had some success with body changes from the Taurus Twi loop and FemV Flutter loop. The easiest and most noticeable is lower hooves which I can turn on and off fairly easily (this has been getting harder in the 18 hours since I last listened to a loop). Still, I had almost two days turning them on and off, and I had multiple occasions of walking around Anthro style. This was not the intended effect of either file, and I have not compared this with an actual Anthro loop, but I can say a few things from my experiences.
Okay, lets do this! (I wrote this before actually looking up horse physiology, which goes to show how well our minds can replicate things without specific knowledge)
Normally, when human walks, they plant their foot with heel and toe striking together. Shoes has changed that, however, and now many people plant their heel. However, when I'm walking as an Anthro, I plant on the balls of my feet. Usually, my toes are contracted as part of the hoof hypnosis, enough so that they provide forward balence, and the planted foot has an oval shape.
Now, walking itself has a few differences from human standard. First, because I plant front first, there is very little rocking forward (this is normal when you plant heel first). Instead, the ankle provides the main pivot point as I move forward over it. Thee knee is locked near 5 degrees, so the other pivot is the hip. After the back foot is lifted, the ankle is contracted to avoid hitting the ground while it is brought forward. At no point does my heel hit the ground. This style of walking shares many similarities with walking in heels.
It does, however, have some limitations. Because the knee is mostly locked, the hip and calf will be doing most of the work. The calf becomes tired easily (I have the slight advantage of having practiced this before, but I tire within a few miles of walking). The hip is unlikely to tire, but it will have to perform movement it is unused to.
Also, it is difficult to speed up your pace to the rhythm a human can manage. This combined with a smaller pace distant can make it difficult to keep up with fast walkers without resorting to a jog (trot if you prefer). You can jog without bending your knees very far; I find a jog more energy efficient but less comfortable.
This method of walking provides a smaller friction surface and a smaller balance surface, meaning balance is an issue. I feel this adds to the experience, personally, but it can be illusion breaking if severe.
Stairs... Dear Blazing Celestia stairs... One major problems of the above method is that it largely eliminates the use of the knee for increased believability. This means you have to rely on the ankle to go up inclines, or stairs. I'm fairly tall, but I'm no where near that amount of ankle flex. Which means, stairs require you remember where your knee is and use it. I suggest keeping your flex on it below 30 degrees, but again, personal preference.
So that's my theory of Anthro Gait. Do you use a different method? Have any tips for improving usability, flexibility, or endurance? Please respond below in the comments!

4hoursleep
Last night, I tested a file from Hypno-Files.com called 4hoursSleep. The idea of the file is that if put into a deep trance just previous to going to bed, then you will sleep more deeply and awake refreshed. Four hours of sleep promises an 8 hour rest, etc etc, lets talk about results.
First off, I decided to start this file at a time when I NEEDED both more sleep and more free time. THis pressure lead me to use the file in subpar conditions. While going to sleep, my roommate and a friend were holding a conversation in the same room, and the Television was running. This resulted in the audio being almost below understandable, but if this limited the effects I could not tell.
I also made one mistake, which I will not repeat the next time I use that file, of assuming I should add an Induction to the front of the 4hoursSleep file. As it turned out, the file is itself little more than a massive induction, and the addition of the two limited the latter's usefulness to an extent.
The result of the combination was to, after a 30 minutes period, drop my body to sleep while leaving my mind half-functional. I spent the next 40 minutes laying, unable to move, doing my best to keep my mind occupied until it could drift into sleep. I squared numbers (1-23,25-27), listened to the Television, and listened to my roommates conversation. My body was primarily senseless, but I eventually became uncomfortable from a rising internal temperature. Still, unable to move, I spent the time annoyed until eventually noticing the beginning of dreams and shoving myself into them.
What I learned? First, don't put an induction on a file that you don't know. Second, I'd go insane within hours of losing feeling in my body.
EDIT1:
I attempted to use the 4hourssleep file again the next day. It knocked me out well enough (and fully, thank goodness), but I did not wake up after four hours. Also, made the mistake of leaving the track on loop overnight, which probably made my sleep worse. Still, I very well rested.... after 8 hours of sleep.

Mental Models
This is a nasty topic, but one that must be tackled now so that my later descriptions may make some sense. This will be a basic overview of the concept of a Mental Models (there are better scientific terms, but this one is mine).
So, first off, what is a Mental Model? Well, a mental model is any method of summarizing the capabilities of the mind into a easily understood framework. The ability to create a mental model is one of humanity's highest power, since it allows us to evaluate our own mind! Simple Models are include things you take for granted, like memory or imagination. Both take a certain set of the mind's abilitity and give it a name. You probably know, for example, that it is very hard to remember 100 things in the right order. This is something you were taught, and it is part of a commonly believed Mental Model.
Now, the mental models I will be using are a bit more complex in that they attempt to be complete. That is to say, they don't try to define just part of the mind, but rather ALL of the mind's abilities. These models share some things, but often vary greatly. I will use the model which I feel provides the best access to a problem, or makes it most understandable. I will ensure I explain models previous to using them, and I will Name the mental model in use at the beginning of posts where I think it important.
This is another method of interacting with hypnosis, as different models will suggest different effects. It is also worthwhile to learn about new models so that their usefulness can be ascertained, and that useless models be pointed out as such.

Early Mental Effects of the Twi loop
At this point, I've been without the Taurus Twi loop for 18 hours, so hopefully these notes are unbiased. I'm also a hours behind on my notes, however...
Conscious changes: Occasional. Mostly, having Twi narrate my thoughts, but I find this is limiting at the moment. She doesn't have my vocabulary... I can feel my mind struggling to fit her voice to the words she needs.
I've been told that my text online resembles her, on four occasions by two people, and only while the file was looping. I can see the similarity, but I'm not certain how much of that was the file and how much was my natural style of writing.
Spoiler for NSFW:
[Show][Hide]
I did have a strange experience. I was invited to a threesome (text only), and accepted the invite (I was oblivious to the nature of the intended interaction). When I realized the intent of the other two, I excused myself from participation. However, instead of leaving, I stayed around and took notes...
I can't emphasize how against my nature it was to stay. It's just... I wasn't interested in participating, but I wanted to watch because I'd need seen it before. It wasn't a sexualized thing at all, just a genuine interest. By the end I realized how intrusive it was to be watching something intimate like that, so I deleted my notes.
I regret doing that.
Obviously, I restructured my notes while looping Twi, and I think the difference shows. I've never kept such a structured collection before... The complexity/clarity impresses me reading it now, although it seemed mediocre why listening to the loop.
As for Subconscious effects... I dunno just yet. It might have been part of my desire reawakening, but I'll have more on that later.

Early notes
While I did move to the blog format, I will not be converting my past notes. I feel that the medium is as important as the text itself, so I will simply post a link to that old gdoc.
Original Hypnosis Gdoc
You may note the sudden shift in format after I began listening to the Twilight Sparkle Loop for long periods of time. It was only a two day period between the creation of that gdoc and the creation of this blog, but I felt (and still do at this moment) the need to be able to cross reference more fully.

Introduction
Okay,
let me give a full introduction. My name is Fillyosopher. For years,
I’ve been working on mental and physical self control. Things that most
people take as static, I try to change. Things most people think
impossible, I attempt. Most of what I’ve taught myself is ‘useless,’
and certainly not something I can make any money off of. Still, I keep
myself open to new things, and enjoy using my past experience to analyze
new experiences, putting them into categories and explaining them to
myself.
I was given the link to the Pony hypnotism page by a friend to whom I’ve taken the time to explain my theories of the mind to. He interested me, and I took the chance to try it out. I took notes of my progress in a gdoc and posted links to them on the /r/clopclop post and on EQAD. What resulted was an influx of Anons asking for help and more information, their numbers increasing when the link was added to the main EQAD post.
I'm keeping my basic help page up, but I'm moving my journal here, primarily because of the increased ability to organize posts. Also, I feared that the amount of notes and content I was developing would become impossible to sort through on a single gdoc. I will continue to post and use gdoc links for short and important items, but from now on my notes will be posted here first.
I hope that this blog can help answer questions others might have about specific topics. I also hope that it can encourage a dialogue between myself and others. I am still a student of the world, and I have more to learn from it than it does from me. Please, I encourage comments, criticisms, debates, links, and all other variety of increased communication.
Thank you, and enjoy.
